Selectmen's Minutes - November 24, 1992

Chairman noted that the Common Victualer License for Dunkin Donuts has been taken off the agenda until all departments have been signed off.  

Hanson A. A. requested live entertainment license for 1993 - wekdays.  Motion by Frisoli to grant, 2nd Murdoch, 3-0 vote.

Board would like to set up interviews for MBTA Local Coordinator.  

Board signed Whitman-Hanson lease for all buildings.  

Board agreed after some discussion to look into turning on approximately 100 street lights throughout the Town.  Police Chief is in the process of looking into recommending 100 pole locaitons.  

Mr. Frisoli noted that we have yet to receive a response from the Board of Health.  He has asked that the Board of Health be invited to our next meeting.  He also indicated his concerns over Rte. 58.  He mentioned a series of issues, why they didn't work overtime last weekend, why the paving was not complete, if they were going to grind beyond J.J.'s, why there were no barriers or barrels at the pond.  Why they are not finishing Rte. 58 at 27 and working backward, and what he considered violations of the contract.  Mr. Frisoli was informed by the Exec. Sec. that the meeting he had requested with the State Engineer was set for 9:30 on Wednesday a.m.

Chairman read a letter to the Board of Assessors from Mary Ellen Murphy which thanked the Town Accountant, Clerk and Treasurer/Collector for their cooperation in processing the paperwork to set the new tax rate.  

Motin to adjourn by Murdoch, 2nd Frisoli, 3-0 vote.  8:00 p.m.
